Meet the Instructor

Haruka Uematsu 



 Studied Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York, where she received pronunciation training based on the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).

 Majored in Contemporary American Literature at Konan University’s Faculty of Letters, where her graduation thesis on Wicked was selected as an Outstanding Thesis.

 Trained in phonetics both in Japan and the U.S., she offers English vocal coaching that combines pronunciation theory with stage performance.

 With exposure to over 2,000 films and an extensive range of English-language texts, she brings a deep understanding of linguistic nuance and cultural context to her work.

 She has also taught English grammar, test preparation, and instructor training at an English conversation school, working with students from elementary school to adults.
